Whet you appetite on this real and different
island. Come and let's cook in Curaçao. A
few years ago I started cooking with a group
of friends, just for fun. It was so much
fun, that I decided to do the cooking on a
more professional basis.
To improve my cooking skills I attended a
cooking course at the Peter Kump School in
New York in October 2000 and in July 2001 a
master class at La Varenne with Anne Willan
near Paris. In my profession as a pharmacist
I am familiar with herbs and spices to
improve the taste of pills and potions.
Making a prescription is not that far from
making a dish following a recipe.
I started Angelica’s Kitchen at the end of
2000. At Angelica’s Kitchen I organize
cooking sessions for groups of friends,
colleagues and families. I emphasize on
teambuilding through cooking and businesses
notice that it works over and over again.
Angelica’s Kitchen is situated in an old
monument in the Otrobanda neighborhood of
Willemstad, the capital of Curacao. Curacao
is a very dry and beautiful island, where
the sun shines all year round and where the
temperature is pleasantly in the 90’s,
helped by a steady trade wind from the east
.
Curacao , part of the Dutch Kingdom, is
situated in the Caribbean Sea near its
sister islands Aruba and Bonaire, forming
the ABC islands. I would like to invite you
to browse the website and ultimately to come
and cook with me in my fabulous kitchen. |
