We begin our walking tour through
Willemstad. The tour takes us through parts
of Otrobanda and Punda, two sections of the
city on both sides of the Anna Bay. We'll
savour a refreshing tropical fruit smoothie,
while walking across the pontoon bridge, the
Queen Emma Bridge.
We'll visit the Floating Market, with its
fruits, vegetables and spices from South
America that are
typical of the Caribbean islands.
On our walking tour we will visit the
Synagogue, the oldest on the Western
Hemisphere and we will end our culinary walking tour with a lunch of local food at the Old Market (Lunch is not included in the Culinary Walk).
Culinary Walking Tours are made on request
only, usually on Wednesday with a minimum of
4 participants.
